PizzaDAO's 4th Annual Global Pizza Party Was An International Celebration of Community

On May 22, 2024, PizzaDAO hosted its 4th annual Global Pizza Party, marking the biggest celebration yet in honor of Bitcoin Pizza Day. The event, organized with the support of partners like Rari Foundation, NounsDAO, Unlock Protocol, and the World Pizza Champions, brought together over 10,000 attendees across 200 cities worldwide.

This year’s Global Pizza Party saw a tremendous turnout, with pizza lovers and crypto enthusiasts gathering in cities from New York to Tokyo, London to Buenos Aires. The event celebrated not only pizza but also the spirit of community and collaboration that defines PizzaDAO.
In addition to the physical gatherings, the Global Pizza Party connected attendees through a Global Zoom event. This virtual component allowed participants to share their experiences, view live updates from parties around the world, and feel the collective excitement in real-time. The hashtag #GlobalPizzaParty was used to share moments from the celebrations, creating a vibrant online community.

Renowned artist Alyssa Stevens entertained the crowd with a special piece inspired by NounsDAO. Known for her distinctive doodle-inspired cubist style and exhibitions in major art capitals like NYC, London, Miami, Bali, and Seoul, Stevens added a unique artistic touch to the festivities. Supported by NounsDAO, Unlock Protocol, and the World Pizza Champions, the Global Pizza Party highlighted the strength and unity of decentralized communities. Additional partnerships with Stand With Crypto, and Rarible helped support the NYC event. Attendees enjoyed pizza, engaged in discussions, had drinks and commemorated the impact of Bitcoin.
