Pitch Us.
We curate diverse content on music, technology, and culture, including fashion, cannabis, activism, sexuality, and sex positivity. Our articles, essays, reviews, news features, and interviews explore visual culture in unconventional contexts. We value unique voices and critical perspectives in essays.
We welcome pitches from new contributors but do not consider previously submitted ideas. Familiarize yourself with our past publications before submitting. Follow our guidelines, as incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. While we assess all submissions, we cannot respond to each one individually.
Understand our Audience: Though we started as an art and technology publication, our content appeals to a broader audience. Your pitch should answer, "Why should we care?" Avoid relying solely on artspeak.
Narrate Global Stories: Share narratives from around the world, ensuring a far-reaching perspective. We especially value stories from major cities like NYC, Miami, LA, and Tokyo.
Verify Originality: Ensure your proposal is unique and hasn't been covered similarly elsewhere.
Be Concise: Create a compelling headline and encapsulate your pitch in two paragraphs. Highlight why it’s intriguing and why ARCHIV3 is the ideal platform for your story.
Details Matter: Include relevant dates and links for shows or screenings, ensuring your narrative stands alone without them.
Introduce Yourself: After your pitch, provide a brief introduction, your experience, and why you’re the right person for the story. Include links to similar articles or writing samples.
Disclose Conflicts: Inform us of any conflicts of interest. Specify if you experienced an exhibition or performance in person.
Fit for ARCHIV3: Pitches should feel unique to ARCHIV3, making it hard to imagine them elsewhere.
Exposure: While fundraising to compensate future writers, we credit all contributions, offering exposure to our audience.
