OPEN CALL — PHOTOGRAPHY + DIGITAL ART

A LIMITED-EDITION PUBLICATION.

ARCHIV3 Magazine and BLEUCALF Magazine are joining forces to create AFTERIMAGE, a limited-edition photography and digital art book exploring how we see, document, construct, and imagine the world.

We’re looking for work that feels distinctive, forward-looking, and genuinely yours.

There is no required aesthetic or theme.

Photography and digital art are both welcome.

FREE TO SUBMIT

There is no submission fee.

Multiple artists will be selected based on merit, originality, artistic voice, and strength of work.

Selected artists will confirm their place with a $75 publication participation fee.

This project helps make future creative work possible through the continued support of artists, writers, photographers, designers, editors, production staff, and collaborators who bring projects like this to life.

The launch event will be photographed with all images being sent to the official selections.

SELECTED ARTISTS RECEIVE

  • One work published in the limited-edition book

  • Artist name + social/website credit

  • Official selection announcement

  • Promotional assets and exposure through ARCHIV3 × BLEUCALF

  • Invitation to the Manhattan book launch

ATTENDING THE LAUNCH?

Selected artists who attend the Manhattan launch receive one complimentary copy of the book.

Artists unable to attend can order a copy through the ARCHIV3 × BLEUCALF website, with fulfillment handled by Maxim.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Photography:
Fine art, fashion, portraiture, documentary, street, conceptual, experimental, analog, film, architectural, landscape, still life, manipulated photography, and more.

Digital Art:
3D, CGI, generative art, AI-assisted work, digital collage, illustration, virtual photography, glitch, animation stills, game-based imagery, mixed media, and experimental digital practices.

We care less about medium than point of view.

October 26–November 1 — Participation Confirmation
November 16 — Production + Book Design Finalized
November 19  — Online Orders Open

Submit one work for consideration. Use separate forms for multiple submissions. Upload a lower resolution of your work if you are having issues with upload size - we will reach out for a higher resolution file if you are a selectee.
