BoneDaddy’s Bacchanal: Queer Horror, Kink, and Digital Art Collide at Madame X
The all-star cast includes Clairisa Patton, Lola Strange and Liam Borghini.
On July 24, 2025, the red-lit, velvet-lined rooms of Madame X—a Lower East Side nightlife legend—were transformed into a live, playground of queer horror, erotic satire, and burlesque absurdity. BoneDaddy’s Bacchanal, presented by Karley Wasaff, with a digital art component curated by ARCHIV3’s Josh Sauceda, was more than just a cabaret—it was a night where performance and digital art entwined to create an unforgettable, sensory-charged experience.
From the moment doors opened, guests were ushered into an alternate reality. The show unfolded in three explosive 20-minute performance runs, each a kaleidoscope of heels, horror, adult clown chaos, and consent-based performer interactions. Guests with a Participant Pass navigated the evening like a game—rolling Oogie Boogie’s dice, unlocking secret scenes with spell cards, and wielding flashlights to summon characters lurking in the shadows.
Between each round, audiences found themselves pulled toward the glowing heart of the event: an on-site digital art gallery installation. Far from a decorative backdrop, the exhibition acted as a gravitational force, drawing spectators to sit, pause, and resonate with works that haunted, humored, and provoked. The gallery presented a curated collection of queer, experimental visual works that reflected the night’s blend of playfulness and provocation.
One piece that stopped viewers in their tracks was UiD’s Second Visitor_Extra, 2021. With its intricate graphic design and unmistakable feminine presence, the work balanced delicate form with bold digital execution—a hypnotic interplay of softness and strength.
Emela brace Nomolos’ ORAL PROPHECY also left a lasting impression. At first glance, it radiated innocence, but beneath the surface pulsed a layered commentary on kink, desire, and exploration. Its juxtaposition of presentation and subject matter felt like a whisper turned into a dare—an invitation to reimagine boundaries.
BoneDaddy’s Bacchanal guests who splurged on the Participant Pass found more than performance thrills waiting for them—they left with curated indulgence from TBD, the night’s alternative THC sponsor. Known for their premium, boundary-pushing cannabis products, TBD brought a different kind of high to the evening, aligning perfectly with the event’s ethos of liberation, exploration, and sensory play. From discreet edibles to innovative THC experiences, their presence added another layer to the night’s hedonistic palette.
The pairing of interactive performance and digital exhibition created a rhythm for the night: moments of high-voltage chaos followed by quiet, absorbing reflection. As one guest put it, “It wasn’t just watching—it was being inside the art.”
Tucked inside each VIP goodie bag alongside TBD’s offerings was something equally provocative: exclusive, handmade lingerie from Dani Threads, the queer designer redefining intimate wear. Known for blending sensual craftsmanship with unapologetic self-expression, Dani Threads’ pieces are made to be worn as armor, art, or both. For Bacchanal guests, receiving a one-of-a-kind creation meant taking home a tangible piece of the night’s decadent spirit—something to wear long after the red lights of Madame X faded.
By midnight, BoneDaddy’s Bacchanal had cemented itself as one of the summer’s most distinctive one-night-only events. It was proof that nightlife can be more than fleeting spectacle—it can be an arena for cultural commentary, artistic risk, and collective liberation.
